The class schedule offered by Sherri is arranged to suit you! The time and pace are set per class to make this a custom fit to suit you and your needs. If you are interested in signing up for or scheduling a class, please  fill out the short form at the bottom of this page; we will then join together like-minded people to take classes together.

Remember – if you have at least 3 friends who would like to take a class with you, the class will be considered ‘filled’ immediately and it will be scheduled. It will be open to others who would like to take that class at your time and then closed when it is full.

Classes Offered

Beginning Quiltmaking: The basics are taught here in a sampler format. A new technique is presented at every meeting. This starts from the very beginning (here is a rotary cutter, here is a ruler and this is what they are for, etc) and ends with quilting and binding. An excellent way to learn quilt making or refresh your skills.

Four-six 2 hour classes

Foundation Piecing: Expand your view of piecing with this basic class. This technique can open up your piecing to include precise and detailed work.

One 3 hour class

Machine Appliqué: The sky is the limit to what you can do once you master this skill. Appliqué is fun to do and will bring a whole new element to your quilt making.

One 3 hour class

Machine Quilting: Everyone should know how to do this. A little explanation, a little practice, a little refining and you will be on your way to quilt shows and awards. Learn what to do and what to avoid and finish those projects.

One 2 hour class

I’m So Glad I Live In Texas: An original quilt pattern that is lots of fun to make. Includes Texas quilt blocks, machine or hand appliqué, and the freedom to do just what you want to make this quilt your own.

Four 2 hour classes

Tea In Pots: Easy piecework, basic machine appliqué, some very cool teapots, and your imagination will make an unforgettable quilt. The pattern is simple, it is your fabric that will make this one of your favorite things.

Four 2 hour classes

Rows Of My Favorite Things: The idea is simple; pick something you love and make a quilt about it. We will give you ideas, support, and advice to create an original quilt just for you. Avoid common pitfalls and learn from others experience. This is a great class for experienced quilters.
